Sand filtration system [Reach Filter delivery case] for a major dairy factory in the food industry.

Reduction of drainage, industrial water, and maintenance costs, and improvement of productivity! Introducing case studies of filter equipment.

At a major dairy factory in Tokyo, rotating filters and cartridge filters had been used for crate washing, but severe clogging occurred, leading to leaks of sand, gravel, and paper fibers. This affected the high-pressure pumps and nozzles, resulting in inadequate cleaning equipment and complaints from retailers about dirty crates. By introducing reach filters, clogging was resolved, allowing for proper crate washing. This led to reductions in maintenance costs for filters and nozzles, industrial water costs, and wastewater costs, as well as improvements in productivity. [Case Study] - Location: Major dairy factory in Tokyo - Purpose: Reduction of water usage through reuse - Filtration Objective: Restoration of crate washing machine capacity - Source Water Type: Recovered water from crate washing - Model and Processing Capacity: RF-12, 300m3/day - Filter Media Used: Silica sand *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Sand filtration system [Reach Filter delivery case] Chemical plant in Chiba Prefecture

Suppression of ground subsidence through the removal of SS, maintaining the reduction capacity of the reduction well! Introducing examples of filter installation.

We would like to introduce a case study of the filtration system "Reach Filter," which plays an important role in the finishing process of water treatment by removing SS (suspended solids) contained in manufacturing water, factory wastewater, and water treatment such as drinking and sewage water. At a major chemical company in Chiba Prefecture, the system was introduced to replace an existing siphon-type sand filter, with the aim of recovering iodine from the brine and returning it underground. The goal is to improve the recovery rate of iodine while maintaining the reduction capacity of the reduction well and suppressing ground subsidence. [Case Study] ■ Location: Major chemical company in Chiba Prefecture ■ Application: Purification of brine in a water-soluble gas field ■ Purpose of Filtration: To suppress ground subsidence and maintain the reduction capacity of the reduction well by removing SS from the brine ■ Type of Raw Water: Brine ■ Model and Treatment Capacity: RFE-2000 and others ■ Filter Media Used: Silica sand *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

"Reach Filter Delivery Case - Major Gas Company in Chiba Prefecture" Sand Filtration System

Highly efficient floor cleaning with very high filtration efficiency, suitable for high SS concentration wastewater! Introducing case studies of filtration system implementation.

At a major gas company in Chiba Prefecture, the concentration of reducing water varies by area; in low-concentration areas, it is a few mg/L, while in high-concentration areas, it can reach up to 80 mg/L. Conventional sand filtration systems have been applied to brine with SS concentrations of approximately 30 mg/L or less. However, in brine with high SS concentrations, the filter bed becomes clogged within a short period (a few months), leading to an inability to continue operation (due to insufficient cleaning power). In such situations, by adopting the "Reach Filter," which has a very high filter bed cleaning efficiency, it has become fully applicable to brine with high SS concentrations and is being adopted in other high SS concentration areas as needed. [Case Study] ■ Location: Major gas company in Chiba Prefecture ■ Application: Purification of brine in water-soluble gas fields ■ Purpose of filtration: To suppress ground subsidence and maintain the reducing capacity of reducing wells by removing SS from the brine ■ Type of raw water: Brine ■ Model and treatment capacity: RFE-2000 and others ■ Filter media used: Silica sand *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Presenting Case Studies] Sand Filtration Device 'Reach Filter'

Many successful implementations in large food factories, chemical plants, and station buildings! A sand filtration system that eliminates the need for media replacement due to its high cleaning power!

The "Reach Filter" is a device that removes SS (suspended solids) contained in wastewater from factories, as well as in drinking water and sewage treatment, playing an important role in the final stage of water treatment. It cleans the entire sand layer by moving it in three-dimensional directions—up and down, horizontally, and laterally—completely removing the suspended solids captured in the gaps of the sand. In addition to vigorous scrubbing, it also performs cleaning with air to remove surface dirt. With the ability to achieve complete cleaning, there is no need to replace the sand even after five years, and the sand remains very clean overall. 【Features】 - Removes dirt adhered to the surface of the sand - Prevents the generation of mud balls - Easy operation and management with a touch panel monitor - The condition of the filter media and raw water can be observed through a large inspection window - Cleaning with raw water *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Sand filtration system [Reach Filter delivery case] Sewage treatment for government agencies

Introducing a case study on the introduction of "sand filters," which play an important role in the water finishing process!

At the sewage treatment plant in Gunma Prefecture, treated river water is used for on-site water, and due to odors and poor appearance during on-site operations, conventional sand filtration systems were used. However, insufficient sand cleaning led to an increase in backwash water, more frequent media replacements, and rising maintenance costs. The introduction of the reach filter has resolved all these issues, and it has been demonstrated through empirical data that it is effective against organic wastewater. [Case Study] ■ Location: Sewage treatment plant in Gunma Prefecture ■ Purpose: Securing on-site water through the reuse of secondary treated water ■ Filtration Objective: Removal of SS and turbidity ■ Type of Raw Water: Activated sludge treated water ■ Model and Treatment Capacity: RF-12 300m3/day ■ Filter Media Used: Silica sand *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Sand filtration system

Suitable for high turbidity raw water! Ideal for secondary treatment of wastewater and river water, as well as turbid water.

The "sand filtration device" is a product that uses "sand" with varying particle sizes as the filtering material within the device. By adjusting the particle size of the filtering material and the filtration speed, it can accommodate various types of suspended raw water. It can remove high turbidity raw water and suspended solids (SS) contained in well water and river water. By reversing the flow of water within the device, it is possible to remove suspended substances attached to the filtering material (sand) through backwashing. We offer models with a flow rate of 1 to 70 m³/Hr. For flow rates above 70 m³/Hr, please consult us. 【Features】 ■ Removal of suspended solids (SS) - Suitable for secondary treatment of wastewater and turbid water such as river water. ■ Accommodates high turbidity raw water - Adjusting the filtration speed according to the raw water quality allows for handling high turbidity raw water. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
